The founders

We didn't build Steady from theory. We built it from the pivots we made ourselves.

Ricco — Co-founder & CTO

Before software, I was a professional footballer. Years of my life went into understanding a game most people only ever watch from the outside — reading play before it happens, making decisions under real pressure, knowing the difference between a good pass and the right one.

When that career ended, I didn't get to start over. I had to find where everything I'd already built — discipline, pattern recognition, performing under pressure — actually mattered somewhere new. It took me into software engineering, where I've now spent roughly seven years building products.

Steady exists because that transition should never have been as hard as it was. Every platform I tried treated my years of football like they didn't exist — like I was starting from zero, same as anyone else. I wasn't. Nobody making a real career pivot is.

I still coach — I work with Dinamo Batumi's U15 team and I'm currently pursuing my UEFA coaching license. It's the same translation problem in reverse: taking what I know about competing at a high level and making it useful to teenagers who are just beginning.

Anano — Co-founder & Design

I'm a UI/UX designer, but I didn't come up through a design degree or a bootcamp. I taught myself — and for a long stretch of that, AI was effectively my mentor. Every principle, every critique, every "why does this layout feel wrong" moment got worked through in conversation with AI before it ever became a skill I could call my own.

That's not a small detail for me. It's the reason Steady's whole premise makes sense to me on a personal level — I'm proof that someone can build real expertise in a new domain with the right kind of support, without a traditional path there. Now I lead design at Steady, building the product I wish had existed when I was the one figuring it out.
